| Bio: | I've just begun my career as a full-time professional dog trainer. I've been doing this part-time for the past ten years. One of the things I love about being a trainer is that I get to meet all kinds of people, and they all want to talk about their dogs and how special they are. Every day brings a new adventure in the world of animal lovers, and even if they don't end up paying me, I nearly always get a good story out of it. I've always been told that I should write a book of my client stories - well, I'm starting here. If I get enough stories, I'll see about publishing them! Names will be changed, of course, to protect the funny. THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME: - I train using whatever methods will reliably get the dog's attention. This has included food, but mostly involves the use of a training collar, or more recently the remote/electronic collar, with fantastic results that produce a trained dog, not a fearful or skitzy or broken dog. If all you're going to do is tell me I'm mean and cruel and sadistic for the way I train, then feel free to go elsewhere for funny people stories. - I tend not to mince words, and I cuss a fair bit.
